What this solves
AI models improve fast, and content written by an older generation starts to feel it: slower answers, flatter copy, weaker instruction-following. Checkgrow's default models dated from an earlier generation, and the newest options were missing from the pickers entirely.
What changed
- The platform default is now GPT-5.6 Terra, the current OpenAI all-rounder — chat, agents and background content generation all benefit immediately.
- The model pickers gained the full new lineup: GPT-5.6 Terra, GPT-5.6 Luna, Claude Sonnet 5, Claude Opus 5 and Gemini 3.7 Flash, alongside Claude Haiku 4.5 and Gemini 2.5 Pro.
- Long-form agents now auto-upgrade to Claude Sonnet 5 for quality, and the notice tells you exactly which model ran.
- Previous models remain available under a clearly marked Legacy section — if you had picked one, your choice is respected and nothing switches silently.
- Every picker across chat and AI Agents now shows the same, consistent model list.

- Open the AI Assistant and click the model button above the chat to browse the new lineup.
- In AI Agents, use the model dropdown in the header before running an agent.
- Your selection is remembered and applies across the platform.
