A cleaner Calendar workspace for social posts

What this solves

Social post previews used vague labels and crowded spacing. The editor also repeated Draft and Post controls in several places, while Instagram publishing was unavailable even for connected professional accounts.

What changed

• Calendar previews now use consistent spacing and show the social channel icon beside its channel name.
• The social post editor keeps the title, channel, date and status together in a compact header.
• Draft and publishing actions now sit below the post copy. The publishing button changes between Post now, Schedule post and Update schedule based on the selected time.
• Connected LinkedIn accounts can publish text or selected media. Connected Instagram professional accounts can publish an image, Reel or carousel.
• Existing Instagram connections may need one reconnect in Integrations to grant the new publishing permission. Drafts and insights remain available in the meantime.
• Instagram posts require selected media and explain what is missing before publishing can begin.
• Disconnected LinkedIn and Instagram channels now include an in-context connection action, so users can sign in without leaving their Calendar work.
• A shared social idea can keep separate LinkedIn and Instagram dates and statuses. Each channel appears on the Calendar at its own planned time and moves to its actual publication time when posted.
• Published channel versions stay locked and include a direct link to the live post when available.
• Task side panels now include shortcuts for changing status, category and assigned teammates without opening the full Tasks page.

Where to find it

Open Calendar, select a social media item, then edit its channel version in the side panel.
