v.1.588
Clearer task statuses and a simpler way to create tasks
Keep work organised with five clear statuses and a more compact task composer.
Tasks
What this solves
Teams need to distinguish work that is underway, paused or blocked. Task creation also used too much space for introductory text and repeated labels, particularly on mobile.
What changed
- Tasks use Pending, In Progress, Paused, Blocked and Finished across the task window, table, filters and Kanban board.
- Existing Progress and Done tasks keep their data, now shown as In Progress and Finished. Paused and Blocked are separate states, not hidden inside Pending.
- Calendar uses the same task status names, while keeping its overdue warnings.
- Task creation opens with a document-style title and description, without the large introductory heading or repeated field labels.
- Type, category, due date, assignees, campaign and project remain available as compact controls below the writing area.
- Manual creation, AI briefing review, templates, rich formatting, checklists, mentions and file uploads remain available. Attachments use a smaller control while retaining file sizes, progress and removal.
- Controls wrap on smaller screens and long drafts scroll within the popup, keeping the main actions reachable.
Where to find it
Open Tasks and choose Add Task. The same creation window is used by the Campaign and Website task boards and when adding a task inside a project.
Useful for
Teams managing active work, waiting tasks and blockers while keeping task creation quick on desktop and mobile.
