Competitor LinkedIn posts now appear alongside Instagram
The LinkedIn posts Checkgrow collects for your competitors are now visible, with their images and their posting rate, everywhere Instagram posts already were.
What this solves
Checkgrow has been collecting recent posts from each competitor's LinkedIn page for some time, but they never reached the screen: Latest competitor posts stayed empty, the LinkedIn tab showed nothing, Top posts only considered Instagram, and posts per week showed a dash. For companies whose competitors are most active on LinkedIn, that left the most useful half of the picture invisible.
What changed
- Latest competitor posts shows both channels in the same scrollable strip of thumbnails, so LinkedIn and Instagram finally read as one section. Each tile carries the competitor, reactions, comments and date; a post with no picture shows its own words instead of an empty frame.
- Video posts show their thumbnail and are marked as video.
- A competitor's LinkedIn tab lists their recent posts, as the Instagram tab always has.
- Top posts covers both channels, ranked separately then alternated so one cannot crowd out the other: LinkedIn audiences are much larger for the same brand, so their engagement rates are naturally lower. Each post is marked with its channel.
- Post images are copied into Checkgrow when a post is collected, so they keep loading instead of expiring.
- Posts per week is now reported for LinkedIn. It showed a dash for every competitor, because the figure compared two weekly readings and LinkedIn had only been read once. It is now counted from the posts' own publication dates, so it is available straight away. Where a competitor posts so often that our sample does not cover a full four weeks, it stays blank rather than understating them.
- Opening a post takes you to that post on LinkedIn, not to the competitor's page.
Where to find it
Open Competitors → Dashboard. Their posts and Posting rhythm sit under "Explore the field", and each competitor's detail window has the posts on its LinkedIn tab. Top posts is on the Social Media dashboard.
Useful for
Anyone tracking competitors who publish mainly on LinkedIn — B2B, recruitment, professional services — and anyone comparing two channels for the same competitor.
