The product describes what it does, not which services it uses
Progress hints, unlock screens and error messages now say what Checkgrow is doing for you in plain terms, without naming the third-party services working behind the scenes.
What this solves
A handful of screens leaked implementation detail: an Instagram profile hint that named the scraping service it was using, trend-scan descriptions that listed the search providers, image-reference hints that named the vision model, website-scan toasts that asked you to top up a vendor's credits you have no access to, and a failed ad scan that printed the provider's raw error text into the tooltip. None of that helps you decide anything, and some of it asked you to act on something only we can act on.
What changed
- Competitors — the Instagram profile hint reads "Reading the profile. This usually takes 10–20 seconds." The "read failed" and "ads scan failed" messages keep the retry guidance and drop the provider's own error text. - Radar — the Trends keyword dialog and unlock screen describe the weekly scan as searching the news and the web; the settings "how it works" list no longer mentions a vendor's API credits. - Campaigns — the creative-reference hints say the images are analysed into generation-ready prompts. - Knowledge Center — the website-structure toasts explain that the full site read is temporarily unavailable and to run the scan again later, instead of asking you to top up a vendor account. - AI Agents — the sources line under a result reads "Sources found through real-time web research."
All of it in the five interface languages.
Where to find it
Competitors › competitor window (Instagram tab, ad-scan tooltips) · Radar › Trends and Settings · Campaigns › Files and the campaign wizard · Knowledge Center › Website structure · any agent result with web sources.
