v.1.600
Large workspaces load their data faster after two-factor authentication
The access check that runs behind every list you open is now several times faster, so large workspaces stay responsive now that two-factor authentication is part of every check.

What this solves
- Adding two-factor authentication made the check that decides whether you may see each item slower. On small lists nobody noticed. On large ones it added up: one team's Sales page stopped loading on the day two-factor launched, and that was fixed the same day.
- A review of every other place showed the same slowdown one step away from failing: Checkgrow staff opening a large workspace they are not part of, company admins viewing a long credit history, and the knowledge graph's revision history for the biggest companies.
What changed
- The access checks give exactly the same answers as before: the same people see the same data, and two-factor requirements apply exactly as your company set them. Only the time each check takes changed.
- Measured on the same data before and after: individual checks are 5 to 45 times faster, and full lists load 8 to 15 times faster. A staff view of 5,500 posts went from about 2 seconds to a quarter of a second.
- A new automatic check stops any future change from bringing the slow form back.
Where to find it
Nothing to switch on. Any long list is faster, for example Sales, Knowledge Center, the Media Library, your credit history and the team conversations in the assistant.
Useful for
- Teams with a lot of history in Checkgrow, especially companies that require two-factor authentication.
- Company admins who review the full credit history of their workspace.
