My Tasks panel and a compact Team Tasks table

What this solves

• One database mixed everyone's work with your own, so finding your next action meant filtering every time.
• Tall rows scrolled far, filters reset on every visit, and assigning a teammate opened the task instead of just assigning.

What changed

• My Tasks panel. A panel on the right lists the tasks assigned to you that are In Progress, In Review or Revision, one circle per task. Ticking it marks the task Done: it slides out and reappears in the team table as Done, with an undo in the Completed section. A Today switch shows only what is overdue or due today, and "Add a task" creates a task assigned to you in one line.
• Team Tasks. The main database is called Team Tasks while the panel is on and still shows every task. Assigning yourself an active task, or moving one of yours to In Progress, puts it in the panel instantly; Not started, On hold or Done takes it out.
• Compact table. 32px rows, tighter cells and light column rules. The Category column steps aside when the table is narrow. Drag a column title to reorder the columns; the order is remembered.
• Assigning is instant. Ticking teammates applies at once, the picker stays open for the next tick, and it no longer opens the task window.
• Filters that stay. Filters are remembered on your device between visits. The panel now uses status and category chips with counts, and a People section that says whether a person means assigned to or created by.
• Compact history and a setting. History shows one change per line. The Tasks settings menu has a My Tasks panel switch.

Where to find it

Tasks. The panel is on by default on desktop; on tablets and phones it opens from the tick icon in the Tasks header. The switch is in the settings icon at the right of the header.

• Team members who want a short personal list next to the shared board.
• Managers who assign work in the table and want it on the assignee's list at once.
