v.1.604

Deletion certificates and scheduled log clean-up

Deleting a company now ends with an email and a PDF certificate that proves the deletion, and old activity logs are removed on a fixed schedule.

AccountPlatform

What this solves

  • Customers leaving Checkgrow, or ending a pilot, need written proof that their data is gone. Until now the only confirmation was a message on screen.
  • Activity logs were kept without limit, and a deleted person's email address could stay in them.

What changed

  • When a company admin deletes a company, the person who deleted it receives an email with a one-page PDF certificate. It lists what was removed, confirms that a check afterwards found no records or files left, and carries a fingerprint that Checkgrow can match against its own record.
  • The success message after deleting a company says where the certificate was sent.
  • Deleting your own account sends a final confirmation email, naming any workspaces that were deleted with it.
  • When an account is deleted, its name, email and connection details are removed from the activity logs straight away.
  • Activity and error logs are deleted after 12 months, and AI usage records after 24 months, every night.

Where to find it

  • My Account → Companies → delete a company. The certificate arrives by email.
  • My Account → Profile → Delete account for the account confirmation.

Useful for

  • Company admins closing a workspace or finishing a trial who need proof for their own records or their security team.
  • Anyone who wants to know that a deleted account does not linger in our logs.
