v.1.609

Clearer Google Analytics and Meta sync problems, steadier trend scans

When Google Analytics can no longer open your property, Checkgrow now tells you and shows the way out, Meta outages are named as such, and the weekly trend scan finds news more reliably.

What this solves

If the Google account behind your Google Analytics connection lost access to the chosen property, your analytics data quietly stopped updating and nothing on the page said why. A short outage on Meta's side showed a generic "Sync failed" message, as if your connection were broken. And the weekly trend scan often came back without news-site results because the news source was asked for too much at once.

What changed

  • Google Analytics tells you when it can't open your property. The integration page shows which account lost access to which property, and Insights shows a one-line notice with a link to fix it. Choose another property or reconnect with an account that has access, and syncing resumes.
  • No more retrying a property that can't be opened. The nightly sync waits until you change something instead of failing every day.
  • Meta outages are named. When Meta's servers don't answer, the message says so and suggests trying again in a few minutes. Checkgrow also tries a little longer before giving up.
  • Trend scans spread out their requests. Companies start their weekly scan a few seconds apart, and news searches back off when a source is busy, so more scans include news-site results.
  • LinkedIn outreach replies are picked up across your whole inbox, not only the first page of conversations.

Where to find it

Integrations → Google Analytics, Insights, and Social Media → Find & Reply → Trends.
