Sales campaigns, automatic company owners and one line of context
Setups are now campaigns, every company gets an owner without anyone assigning it, and each person in Sales shows why they are being contacted.
What this solves
A small team had to assign a rep to every company before Sales would contact anyone, so new workspaces sat at zero targets. Setups also asked again which people to contact, in their own terms, after the ICP had already said so.
What changed
- Setups are called campaigns, and a campaign is four questions: which companies (usually every company of an ICP, or all, or a list), who sends (each company's owner by default), how we start (comment first, decide per person, or invite directly) and when it starts.
- Who to talk to at each company comes from your ICP's roles, so campaigns no longer filter people by team, seniority or title.
- Each company gets an owner automatically: a rep already working it, else one of the reps who cover its ICP, else any rep with LinkedIn connected. Owners stay where they are. An admin can still move one.
- A new setting, Reps per ICP, sets who covers which ICP. Each ICP in the Knowledge Center lists the reps who cover it, and the owner is marked on the company's reps in Companies.
- When someone replies that a colleague is the right person, Sales puts that colleague first at the company, as long as they are already among the people found there or the reply includes their LinkedIn profile.
- Photos and logos in Sales stay put: they no longer blink when you come back to the tab, search or filter Targets, or assign a person, and Mission Control and Sales Force show each reply rate once instead of changing it a moment after loading.
- Targets, Approvals and the Inbox show one line of context: the ICP role the person matches, their place at the company (for example "1 of 5 at Taxfix") and the ICP.
Where to find it
Open Sales → Campaigns. Set reps per ICP in Sales → Settings → Reps per ICP. The context line sits under each person's name.
Useful for
Founders and small sales teams who want Sales to start at every company on its own, and admins who want campaigns to describe how and when, not who.
