Use Sales without connecting LinkedIn
Reps can now start Sales without connecting their LinkedIn account: the Sales Brain still prepares every invitation note, comment and message, and the rep sends it from LinkedIn by hand.
What this solves
Until now a rep who could not or did not want to connect LinkedIn was stopped at the first step, and every Sales tab stayed locked for them. Their team could not use the Sales Brain's drafts at all.
What changed
- The first Sales step now offers Start without LinkedIn next to Connect LinkedIn. A rep whose LinkedIn needs reconnecting can switch to sending by hand too.
- The Sales Brain keeps working for them: it reads their people's recent posts, drafts comments, invitation notes, first messages, follow-ups and answers, and every draft waits for the rep.
- Each draft has Copy and a mark-it-done action: Mark as posted for a comment, Mark as sent for a message, Mark invited and Mark connected for an invitation. The rep can still edit or dislike a draft first, and the Sales Brain learns from it as before.
- When the person answers on LinkedIn, Add their reply puts their answer in the conversation. Sales understands it, drafts the next answer and pauses other outreach at that account, as with a connected account.
- Progress, warm-up, follow-up timing and Home count everything marked by hand.
- Connecting LinkedIn later switches the rep to automatic sending; nothing is lost.
Where to find it
Open Sales. A new rep sees Start without LinkedIn in the first setup step. Drafts are in Warm-up and Messages and on each person's page; Mark invited and Mark connected are on Home under Next up and on the person's page.
Useful for
Sales reps who prefer to keep their LinkedIn account unconnected, and teams that want the Sales Brain's drafts before connecting every account.
