Nano Banana 2.1 is now the default picture engine
Creatives now makes, edits and resizes pictures with Nano Banana 2.1 unless you pick another engine.

What this solves
Edits made with the previous default sometimes rewrote the ad's copy or changed its language. Nano Banana 2.1 keeps the words exactly as they were, and each picture costs a little less.
What changed
- New pictures in the Creatives chat use Nano Banana 2.1.
- Edits and "Make other sizes" use it as well.
- The engine pickers in the campaign creative panel and in the Library start on Nano Banana 2.1, and the other engines stay one click away.
- Story (9:16) sizes, wide link (1.91:1) sizes and carousels still use the engine that can draw their exact shape.
Where to find it
Open Creatives and make a picture as usual; there is nothing to switch on.

Teams editing an ad over several turns who need the copy and language to stay exactly as approved.
